DAWANG JOSEPH BLEPNAANDONG (SMS/09/MAC/00516)

Airborne dust and particles can cause a risk to the health and safety of people. Generally, exposure to any concentration of dust should be avoided because it pose several health effect for many people. It can cause Asthma, Lungs respiratory dysfunction among many others.

However, the people of Sharada Phase 2 and Phase 3 in Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State have found themselves in a situation were they live in dust cause by an abandon road construction. Asthmatic patients living there have since relocated, people desert there residence in the day time until late in the night when the road is less busy before coming back home. this is their situation for the past seven month.

This road, apart from the dust it generated, it has always been a slaughter of many lives due to the nature. Motorist and cyclist try to avoid the road which also add another hardship of transportation to the people living along that area. The road has been abandon by the contractor who is nowhere to found. Please am calling on the necessary authorities to save the lives of these helpless citizens
