Universities don professor Abdullahi Uba Adamu has challenged Youth
to positively used social networking sites for their intellectual
development.
Professor Uba who teaches at Bayero University Kano was speaking at a
panel discussion as part of young journalist competion organized by
the department of Mass communication of the institution, Freedom radio
Kano and Radio Deutch –welle.
He said must social networking sites make provision for search bar for
student to do their researches and assignments.
The university don also warned the youth to avoid displaying their
private matters and desist from engaging in social vises online which
were not the sole aim of the sites.
Professor Uba therefore encourages the youth to be uploading their
write up, local songs and features unto the World Wide Web to make
positive contribution to human race.
