Imam, Group Task Islamic School Properties

Sheikh Mal. Nasir Imam, the chief imam of Rano Local Government has
urged Islamic schools proprietors to emphasize moral teachings in
their curriculum.
Sheikh Nasir said rendering educational services toward human and
national development was 'jihad' which attracted heavenly reward.
'All your efforts toward human capacity building is jihad and it
attracts heavenly rewards,' he told Radio Kano in Rano, last friday.
He urged Islamic School owners to ensure that their pupils were taught
moral values to ensure that a sane society.
"Teach the children morals so that they would be useful to their
families and society at large" the chief Imam said.
Nasir condemned the attitude of some leaders, which he said, was bent
on denigrating humanity.
"Imagine a situation where an elected leader would move for the
legalisation of homo-sexuality in the country," he said
