TRAFFIC JAM AFFECTING BUK STUDENT

Reported By: Halimat Abdussalam (SMS/10/MAC/00819)
One of the main problems affecting the student in BUK is that of the traffic being experience along Kabuaga area of Kano state. The main reason for the so called traffic jam is because of the narrowness of the road from Rijiyar Zaki to kabuga junction. The road is located between the old site of the university to the new site.

The students of BUK coming all the way from their various homes to the new site of the school complain that they have to leave there homes as early as 6:00AM in the morning so as to get to school on time, despite that they are been hooked up by the unending traffic in kabuga and it end up delaying them from attending their lectures early.

Most of the student leaving the  new site to the old site either for lectures or to find their way home also complain on the same issue, is either they are being delayed from getting home on time or they are being delay from getting to lectures on time.

The students are pleading on the state government to please do something about the issue because it is not only affecting BUK students but the society as a whole.
